Little Chills is a quiet, folky little album. Most of the songs revolve around Hanlon’s voice and acoustic guitar. The songwriting is above average; each song is catchy in its own right. Here’s an idea: the music matches the album artwork very well. Make of that what you will. At any rate, Little Chills is one of the few singer-songwriter albums that justifies its own existence, so fans of the genre should thoroughly enjoy it.
